DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:
We were dispatched to a traffic accident with unknown injuries. While en route was advised this was a tractor-trailer vs. a pick-up truck. ECOM advised a few minutes later this was a pin-in. Rescue 1110 was able to run suicide from the 144 to the accident at the 143. Checked on scene and was advised by command that it was a pin-in. Removed the AMCUS spreaders and cutters that were battery operated and placed the spreader tip extensions in my bunker pants pocket. Walked up to the vehicle and started removing the driver's side door with the spreaders. The driver's side door was pried open and removed with the spreaders. The same was done to the rear driver's side door. The roof was removed using the cutters and cut the A post and C post. The B post was already torn away from impact. Once this was done we attempted to use the tip extensions for the spreaders to raise the dash. We stopped this when the dash started to twist. We then cut the steering wheel off with a dewalt saws all. With this done the pt was removed from the wreckage and turned over to EMS. After truck was reloaded we were released by fire command. Rescue clear
